Wind Mill Diaries

                                                     I'm here!  Menorca  Balearic Islands Spain

The first thing that struck me as soon as I step out the Mahón Airport were the palm trees shaken by the wind, in the mild air of the beginning of November.  I soon learnt that in Menorca there is basically always wind, because there aren't mountains to stop it. Sometimes it's the warm Migjorn, from the south, other times is the cold Tramontana from the north. I quickly got use to it. It makes me feel calm and free. Even if it can be annoying sometimes.
