Camí de Cavalls - 4 days with salt on the skin

Immagine
Now that Coronavirus alarm is passed and it's basically summertime, I'm doing some hiking and trekking in the wonderful menorcan nature. Two weeks ago I went with some friends in the north of the island for a four days excursion. We started in Playa Cap Cavalleria and we reached Ciutadella following the Camí de Cavalls, a path that run all around the island. The landscapes were stunning. And, (that's a positive collateral effect of Covid-19) deserted. People told me that usually at this time the island is already invaded by thousand of tourists that fill beaches, resaturants, hotels, streets, parking. This year the island is just for those who live here. Residences, hotels and turistic suburbias look like ghost towns. Finally, children summer activities have been confirmed. I'll work as assistent in the summer camps, but it will be different from the past years because of the security measures against Coronavirus. We will start in July. In these days, with the workers of the Molí, I'm preparing materials and logistics. Some weeks ago I helped finishing a graffiti began last year, in the sport area of Sant Lluís.

Dolphin Rescue

Some weeks ago, some friends of mine, have found a little dolphin aground on the beach. They called the GOB, the menorcan ecological association, and they helped him/her to find the way of the sea again. Dolphin rescue in Son Saura del Norte, Son Parc

During the lockdown months I thought and reflected a lot on my choices, decisions and feelings from the past. It has been painful, but I had the occasion to understand and forgive several aspects of myself. "I am what I am, what I want to be" [Populous ft. Sotomayor - Soy Lo Que Soy]
