Some weeks ago I've participated to an art competition organized by the ecologist association GOB, to promote its plant nursery and native plants of Menorca. It has been a very pleasant morning, drawing in good company, surrounded by plants, with sweet French music spreading from the speakers, and a good brunch offered by the GOB's agricultural department.
I won third place!

Hi! I'm a 30 years old Italian girl and this is the story of my one year long experience as volunteer in a European Solidarity Corps project in Menorca, Spain. Let me tell you about my volunteering service at the Molí de Baix - Youth Center in Sant Lluís, in a project that includes leisure and non-formal education activities with children and teenagers. This blog wants to be kind of a diary about my personal experience, but also a useful tool for those who will choose to participate in an ESC project here in the future. I'll try to share informations about the island and the Eropean Solidarity Corps that I would have liked to receive before departure.
