Baby Sea Turtles

In the last few weeks several sea turtles have born on the beach Sa Mesquida, under the eye of some volunteers from the ecologistic association GOB. My friend Nina has been the first person who saw the first turtle just came out of its egg! The biologists gave the turtle her same name.

Hi! I'm a 30 years old Italian girl and this is the story of my one year long experience as volunteer in a European Solidarity Corps project in Menorca, Spain. Let me tell you about my volunteering service at the Molí de Baix - Youth Center in Sant Lluís, in a project that includes leisure and non-formal education activities with children and teenagers. This blog wants to be kind of a diary about my personal experience, but also a useful tool for those who will choose to participate in an ESC project here in the future. I'll try to share informations about the island and the Eropean Solidarity Corps that I would have liked to receive before departure.
